Welcome to the VR Exposure Therapy Academy
1:00
Welcome, and thank you for being part of our mission.
We're a small team based in Christchurch, New Zealand, united by a simple belief: everyone should have access to evidence-based mental health care, regardless of where they live.
What started as a small idea has grown into a global community. Today, more than 2,000 clinicians across 89 countries use the oVRcome Clinician Portal to help people overcome anxiety disorders using Virtual Reality Exposure Therapy (VRET).
Our goal is ambitious but simple: to make evidence-based exposure therapy more accessible, more engaging, and easier for clinicians to deliver. We believe technology should never replace the clinician. Instead, it should help you spend more time doing what matters most: supporting your clients.
Inside this academy, you'll learn the practical skills needed to confidently integrate VR Exposure Therapy into your practice. Whether you're completely new to VR or looking to refine your approach, we'll guide you through the fundamentals, share best practices from clinicians around the world, and help you achieve better outcomes for your clients.
Thank you for joining us on this journey. Together, we're helping bring one of the most effective psychological treatments to people who need it, wherever they are.
From our team in Christchurch, New Zealand, to clinicians around the world, welcome to the oVRcome community.
